Laser transfer film has advantages such as corrosion resistance, good electrical insulation, excellent arc resistance, and good heat resistance, and is widely used in medical, packaging, and toy manufacturing industries. According to the appearance and coating materials, laser transfer film can be divided into aluminized transfer film and transparent transfer film.
Aluminized transfer film is the mainstream product in the laser transfer film market. It is made using aluminized film as the base material and can be further divided into three types: CPP aluminized film, BOPP aluminized film, and PET aluminized film. CPP aluminized film is a cast polypropylene film with high gloss, low sealing temperature, and strong metallic feel. It is mostly used in toy manufacturing and food packaging; BOPP aluminized film is a biaxially oriented polypropylene film with strong adhesion and high tensile strength. It is mostly used in packaging printing; PET aluminized film has low production cost and high production efficiency and is mainly used in offset printing.
In recent years, the country has paid great attention to plastic pollution and has issued many relevant policies. In 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and three other departments jointly issued the "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the High-Quality Development of Light Industry," which clearly proposes promoting the green development of industries such as papermaking, plastic products, food, and daily chemicals and increasing the consumption of green light industrial products such as biodegradable material products. Against this backdrop, the market share of environmentally friendly laser transfer films in China will increase.

 


According to the "2023-2028 China Laser Transfer Film Industry Market In-depth Research and Development Prospect Forecast Report" released by the New Thinking Industry Research Center, laser transfer films are widely used in many fields, with the packaging industry being its main demand side, including tobacco and alcohol packaging, anti-counterfeiting packaging, and food flexible packaging. In recent years, with the rapid economic development, the prosperity of China's packaging industry has continued to improve. According to statistics from the China Packaging Federation, in 2022, 9860 packaging companies in China achieved a total operating income of 1229.33 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.1%. Laser transfer film has excellent performance and can meet packaging needs, and its market space will continue to expand.

The main manufacturers of laser transfer film in China include Jingjia Co., Ltd., Dalian Southeast, Xinguang Laser, Enjie Co., Ltd., and Tianhong New Materials. Tianhong New Materials is actively promoting the construction project of a 500-ton annual processing laser transfer film production line. Currently, the project has completed the announcement of the acceptance of the environmental impact assessment document.

Industry analysts from New Thinking Industry Research Center said that laser transfer film, as a packaging material, has good application prospects. With the gradual release of downstream demand, the development space of the laser transfer film industry will further expand. There are many participants in China's laser transfer film market, and domestic enterprises have the ability to produce high-performance products.
